Honor Our Veterans
Help build Veterans Park, a permanent place of reverence, reflection, and celebration.
To be completed in 2009.
The park will include:
Monument: A six-sided structure with arches in each wall, the interior composed of veteran's bricks.
Centerpiece: In the center of the monument are statues representing each branch of the military. They will be displayed at the top of a pentagonal structure composed of bricks with the names of KIA's and MIA's.
Walkways: Provide access to the monument and scenic outlook.
Benches: Provide comfortable places to set in the woods, along the walkways, or at the waters edge to reflect and remember.
Trees & Shrubs: Indigenous to Michigan will enhance the natural beauty and contribute to the serenity of the park.
Veterans Brick: Pay tribute to a friend or loved one with an engraved brick.
Contribute to the completion of this beautiful park.
